Upland safety will continue academic and athletic pursuits at Arizona State.
The class consists of 16 freshmen, five sophomores and six juniors.
The Sun Devils finished their first season under new head coach Todd Graham with an 8-5 record.
Two Sun Devils seniors will represent ASU once more in the 88th playing of the annual all-star game.
ASU: Athletic, dynamic defensive back has the potential to be a shut-down cornerback... physical player..contended for time as a true freshman before getting injured... will be a big part of the defense for next two years.
2012:Led team with 14 passes defensed on the season after having just six in 2011 while also not having a single pass interference called against him this year...Had his first interception of the season against Arizona (11/23)...Matched his career high with nine tackles (all solo) against UCLA (10/27)... Had five tackles against Colorado (10/11)...Had two tackles in the opener against NAU and three against Illinois (9/8)...Has made 125 career tackles, including 3.5 for loss (four yards)...started all 13 games in 2011 and 2012...made his first career interception against Portland State on 9/4/10...also intercepted a pass against Oregon State on 10/1/11...had a career-high nine tackles at Illinois on 9/17/11...has seen action in 38 games, starting 32 - including all 13 this season...played all 12 games, starting seven, in 2010...
