Football's Cameron Kastl Nominated For Burlsworth Trophy

ASU: Four-year member of the Sun Devil football team...two-year letterman...played in 24 games, snapping on field goals and extra points...two-time honorable mention Academic All-Conference...nominated for the 2011 Burlsworth Trophy, given annually to the nation's top college football player who began his career as a walk-on...participated in 2012 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game.
2011: Played in all 13 games as the team's long snapper...earned Honorable Mention Academic All-Pac-12 honors.2010: Appeared in every game this season in the vital role of long snapper...earned Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention.
2009: Did not appear in a game...was a productive member of the scout team.
2008: Redshirted, spending the season as a member of the scout team.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, Ariz...was a second-team All-Central Region offensive lineman and first-team long snapper as a senior...was an all-city offensive lineman selection as a senior...was named team MVP and best offensive lineman for his senior season...was selected to play in the Arizona all-star game as a guard in 2007.
