High School...ranked as the No. 8 player in the state of Nevada and the state's top tight end by Rivals.com...named to Scout.com's 2006 Nevada All-State Team...during his career at Reno High School, he totaled 45 catches for 750 yards (16.7 ypc.) and 10 touchdowns...earned first-team All-League, All-Region and All-State honors...as a senior, he caught 25 passes for 345 yards (13.8 ypc.) and five touchdowns...lettered in football and track at Reno High...chose ASU over Boise State, Fresno State, Nevada and Oregon State...coached by Dan Avansino at Reno High School.
