    ASU: Five-year member of the Sun Devil football team...three-year letterman...played in 34 career games, making 16 starts...totaled 56 career tackles, including 8.5 for loss (30 yards)...recorded two career sacks and a pair of fumble recoveries...in 2011, set career highs in games played, tackles, tackles-for-loss, sacks and fumble recoveries.

    2011: Started all 13 games at defensive tackle...earned Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 honors...recorded 35 tackles, including seven for losses, and two sacks...tied for sixth in the Pac-12 in fumble recoveries with two...collected five solo tackles, including two for losses, vs. then-No. 9 Oregon...had a pair of tackles and fumble recovery at Illinois Sept. 17...recorded four solo tackles at Washington State on Nov. 12...had three tackles, including a four-yard tackle-for-loss, vs. Arizona on Nov. 19...made three tackles, including two solo and a two-yard tackle-for-loss, at UCLA on Nov. 5...collected two tackles and a pass breakup in a win over then-No. 19 Missouri on Sept. 9...earned Hard Hat player recognition for his work in ASU's offseason strength and conditioning program.

    HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Sheldon High School in Eugene, Ore....selected as Co-Defensive Player of the Year in the Southwest Conference for his senior season...selected a unanimous first-team All-Conference defensive linemen and second-team All-State as a senior...also participated in the state 6A/5A All-Star game as a senior...was a unanimous first-team All-Conference defensive linemen in the Midwestern League and honorable mention All-State as a junior...was a four-year letterman and three-year starter...had 18 career touchdowns as a fullback in short yardage and goal line situations...played in all 45 games during his high school career, helping lead Sheldon to four conference championships and an undefeated (29-0) conference record over that span...Sheldon High finished 11-1 in 2006...also lettered in basketball and track...chose ASU over Oregon, Washington, UNLV and Idaho...coached by Marty Johnson at Sheldon High School.
