ASU: Solid athlete who will compete for a starting spot at cornerback in 2008...saw his first game action as a sophomore in 2007, playing in six games as a reserve cornerback.
2007: Played in six games...totaled six tackles (all solo) and one pass break-up on the season...recorded two solo tackles in win over Colorado on Sept. 8...collected a season-high three tackles and a pass break-up in Pac-10 opener against Oregon State on Sept. 22...returned to action after missing seven games to play in final two games of the season, against Arizona on Dec. 1 and in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl against Texas on Dec. 27.
2006: Did not see game action...spent the season as a member of ASU's scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Jefferson High School in Los Angeles...earned all-region honors by PrepStar Magazine...rated as the No. 89 player in the FarWest by Scout.com...listed as the No. 2 defensive back in the city by The Los Angeles Times...earned all-city section and first-team All-Coliseum League as a senior...named to Cal Hi Sports Preseason California Top 100 for 2005 (No. 85)...was first team on defense for the 2004 Wave all-area team..registered 36 tackles and seven interceptions as a senior and also played wide receiver, catching 24 passes for 612 yards and nine touchdowns...lists getting his first interception and scoring a touchdown as his most exciting sports experiences...named the Jefferson High Best Defensive Back and Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior...captained the football team as a senior...made all-league as a junior...won perfect attendance awards as a freshman and senior...was coached by Doi Johnson.
