Return to Camp T Matching Donation Program Announced
TEMPE, Ariz.--The White Mountain Sun Devil Club Alumni Chapter has committed to match donations to the Return to Camp T program, up to $65,000, to help Sun Devil Football spend August 14-18, 2012 at the famous preseason Camp. Every dollar donated to the Return to Camp T program, beginning Wednesday, May 2nd, will be matched by the White Mountain Sun Devil Club Alumni Chapter, effectively doubling every contribution.
Announced on April 19th, the Return to Camp T program has steadily marched toward the stated goal of $150,000. The matching program will go a long way toward ensuring the goal is met prior to the June 1st deadline. If it is met the Sun Devil football team, under first-year head coach Todd Graham, will return to Camp Tontozona in 2012 for preseason camp.

The White Mountain Sun Devil Club Alumni Chapter represents over 10,000 ASU Alumni and Sun Devil Club members in the Northeastern Arizona area. The main purpose is to provide funding for ASU scholarships in the White Mountains. The signature fundraising event is The Annual Sun Devil White Mountain Steak Fry and Tate's Auto Group Golf Tournament. It is scheduled for June 22 and 23th at the Pinetop Country Club. The Golf Tournament and the Steak Fry are highlighted by ASU coaches and past ASU basketball and football players. The annual event, now in its fifth year, has more than tripled in size.
The Sun Devil Club is a 501(c)3 charitable organization whose mission is to sustain a culture that promotes and protects Arizona State University through Sun Devil Athletics. The Sun Devil Club annually provides Sun Devil Athletics with financial assistance for operating expenses, scholarships, academic support, facility maintenance and more. Additionally, the Sun Devil Club spearheads special fundraising projects, such as "Return to Camp T", based on the needs of each sport. Contributions to the Return to Camp T program are 100% tax-deductible.
