Coach Graham's Coaches Show To Begin Aug. 27 And Held Every Monday

    Aug. 24, 2012

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State's first-year football coach Todd Graham will begin his weekly radio shows on Monday, Aug. 27 with Sun Devil Blitz at 12:30 p.m., followed by High Octane Hour at 7 p.m. from the Thirsty Lion.

The show, which Coach Graham will co-host with Doug Franz, will be on Monday nights from 7-8 p.m. during the football season, starting on August 27th. It will be broadcast from The Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill in Tempe Marketplace. Most shows will be broadcast on 620 AM, however some nights could switchto 860 AM due to conflicts.

"We are extremely excited to host the New ASU Coaches show with Todd Graham this fall," said John Plew, the owner of The Thirsty Lion, "and introduce all the ASU fans to our new Tempe location and everything The Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill has to offer."

"I strongly believe in connecting with our fan base," says Graham. "This is another way I can accomplish that during the football season. I encourage all Sun Devil fans to attend the show every Monday night."

Sponsored by ASU Online and the Arizona Ford Dealers, High Octane Hour will feature four quarters: an interactive show using social media for questions to ask the coach; participation with the live audience; free prizes for fans in attendance; and interviews with current student-athletes.

Twelve shows are currently scheduled for broadcast, with more possibly for the post-season. Craig Grialou will be hosting "Sun Devil Sound-Off" (formerly Devil Talk) live at Boston's 30 minutes after each home game.
