    Lemke Wins First Collegiate Tournament

    CHICAGO, Ill. - Senior All-American Niklas Lemke shot a 66 in the final round of the Olympia Fields/Illini Invitational to take the top spot and help the Sun Devils finish in seventh place. ASU shot a 44-over 884 (299-297-288). Duke finished in first place after shooting 24-over 864.

    Lemke's first place finish is the first of his collegiate career. He shot a 1-over 211 (72-73-66). Lemke was in 13th place after the first two rounds of play.

    Sophomore Steele DeWald shot a 12-over 222 (72-72-76) to tie for 24th. Sophomore All-American Benjamin Alvarado Holley tied for 28th after carding a thirteen-over 223 (75-77-71). Junior Phil Telliard finished tied for 48th after shooting a 22-over 232 (81-76-75). Sophomore Ryan Kelley shot a 30-over 240 (78-76-86) to finish in 58th place.

    Next up, ASU travels to Williamsburg, Va. to compete in the NCAA Ping Preview Oct. 2-4.
