    Rahm Rodriguez Once Again Leads Sun Devil Men's Golf

    Arizona State men's golf (281-290-294-865) finished in 13th-place at the Alister MacKenzie Inviational in Fairfax, Calif., dropping one spot in the final round. For the third straight tournament freshman Jon Rahm Rodriguez led all Sun Devil golfers.

    Rahm Rodriguez (69-71-74-214), after shooting two-under through two rounds, shot a three-over par 74 Tuesday, capping his overall score at one-over par. He finished tied for 26th after being tied for 24th yesterday. Fellow-freshman Alberto Sanchez (75-76-69-220), after sitting last among ASU golfers at the start of the day, shot a two-under par 69 in the final round to tie for 56th with two golfers, one being sophomore teammate Mathias Schjoelberg (73-71-76-220). Sanchez and Schjoelberg finished seven-over par.

    Freshman Max Rottluff (67-73-81-221), who began the day tied with Rahm Rodriguez in 24th-place, finished tied for 59th at eight-over par, while sophomore Austin Quick (72-75-75-222) rounded out the Sun Devil field tied for 61st, nine shots over par.

    Cal, the host squad, never relinquished the lead throughout, as they finished on top at 46-under par. They beat second-place San Francisco by 20 strokes, while Colorado State came in third. Golden Bear golfer Brandon Hagy (64-62-72-198) also took home the individual win at 15-under par.
