Becoming a champion is never easy. But, over the years, no other collegiate golf program in the nation has consistently launched more championship careers than Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. And, now your son or daughter can benefit from this expertise by attending the Sun Devil Golf Camp at Arizona State University.
Directed by ASU's Randy Lein and Melissa Luellen, two of the most successful college golf coaches in the country, the five-day Sun Devil Golf Camp will provide your athlete with the instruction and counseling required to excel in collegiate golf.
WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE ...
Ages ... Boys and Girls Ages 12-18 (NCAA rules will not allow students to attend the academy who have attended college.)
Dates ...
1st Session: June 14-18, 2007
2nd Session: June 20-24, 2007
Location ... The Karsten Golf Course at Arizona State University.
Facilities ... Pete Dye championship golf course, driving range, putting green, practice bunkers and indoor video instructional facility.
Rates ... $950 per week (Includes room and meals, personal videotape, instruction workbook, T-shirt, hat, golf balls, tournament and awards) Discounts available for groups or families
Lodging ... ASU dormitories
COMPREHENSIVE INSTRUCTION
Instruction will focus on improving the student's swing, short game, putting, chipping and course management skills. Campers are grouped by ages and skill levels. Each group (maximum 10) will be guided by a skilled instructor and counselor throughout the camp.
Instruction will be provided by some of the most outstanding collegiate golf coaches, PGA and LPGA teaching professionals and former and current ASU collegiate players.
FUN AND CHALLENGING ACTIVITIES
The camp concludes with an 18-hole tournament followed by an awards reception, which the campers' families are invited to attend.
MAXIMUM SUPERVISION
All campers will be met upon arrival at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix and will be fully supervised from the time of arrival until their departure. Transportation will be provided to and from the airport.
Registration will be at the ASU dormitories on the day of arrival. The official program will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will end after the awards reception at approximately 3 p.m.
Please plan on arriving prior to 5 p.m. on the first day of camp and departing after 3 p.m. on the last day of camp.

7-7:30 a.m. Breakfast
8-11 a.m. Instruction (refreshments and tents set up at the practice site)
11:30-12:30 p.m. Lunch
1-5:30 p.m. On-course instruction/play: Karsten Golf Course
6 p.m. Dinner
6:45-8:30 p.m. Return to Karsten Golf Course for
intramural competitions
8:45-9:45 p.m. Guest speakers at dorm
10:15 p.m. Lights out

Of course, the final judgment of any golf instruction is how well it delivers the desired results.
