Sun Devil men's golf coach Tim Mickelson has announced the signing of three Sun Devils, as Nicolo Galletti, Ki Taek Lee and Blake Cannon all will be joining the program in the fall of 2013.
"Nicolo comes to us with the most experience at the national level," notes Mickelson. He has played a lot of the AJGA Invitational events which has the best of the best competing and he has had success in those."
Cannon, out of Scottsdale, had his best finish in six AJGA starts last season at the Genesis Junior Championship, as he tied for ninth.
"Blake has been a steady and impressive performer within Arizona and has a great work ethic. We look forward to seeing his progress as he transitions into college."
Lee attends La Quinta (Calif.) High School and his junior record includes a victory at the 2012 Golfweek West Coast Junior Invitational and a T-7 at the 2011 Callaway Junior Worlds.
"Ki Taek is a great ball striker and a tireless worker on his game. His work ethic in trying to get better is impressive."
They will be joining a program that has won a conference-best 12 Pac-10/12 titles (2008, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1993, 1990, 1989, 1981, 1979) and two NCAA titles (1990 and 1996) and will tr to join a pair of Sun Devils who have won the NCAA title as a freshman:

"We are very excited about our 2013 Sun Devil signees," says second-year Sun Devil head coach Tim Mickelson. "All three come with a lot of national experience and success at the national and local level. I expect all three to give us immediate production next fall when they arrive.
"Nicolo, Ki and Blake exemplify what we want at ASU. They are great players, good students and even better individuals. They will fit very well into our Sun Devil Golf family quickly and very well. We look forward to having these guys on campus for the next four years and helping us return Sun Devl Golf to a powerhouse program."
ABOUT THOSE NCAA TITLES
Head Coach Randy Lein led ASU to the 1996 team title at The Honors Course in Tennessee while ASU won the 1990 title under 2002 ASU Hall of Fame and 2008 NGCA Hall of Fame inductee Steve Loy.
