Sun Devil Wrestling Takes On Iowa State on Friday
Arizona State will look to end a streak of seven consecutive losses to the Cyclones.
Arizona State 2011-2012: Posted a record of 16-11 in his first year with the Sun Devils... Went undefeated against PAC-12 opponents... Had key wins over ranked opponents Jordan Thome of Army, Bryan Ontenzio of Penn State and Garrett Drucker of Oregon State... Competed in PAC-12 Tournament before falling short in the consolation final match against Garrett Drucker, whom he had defeated earlier in the season...
High School: A graduate of Desert Mountain High School (Scottsdale, Ariz.)... lettered in wrestling four times... captained the team his final three years at DMHS... reached the Arizona state final all four years and won the championship three times... went 43-0 as a senior to capture his third title... placed fifth at the 2009 junior national event to earn All-America honors in freestyle.
