Former Sun Devil wrestling hero Anthony Robles will be holding a signing for his new book UNSTOPPABLE--From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became A Champion at the Memorial Union at the ASU Tempe campus on Oct. 9.
The book signing, located in room 241 of the MU in the center of campus, will start Tuesday at 6 p.m. This is a free event and a great opportunity to meet a Sun Devil who has inspired thousands of people over the past few years.
Because of his determination and perseverance to never give up, the one-legged Robles earned himself a variety of momentous accolades including being a three-time All-American athlete, NCAA Wrestling Champion, Hall-of-Famer, and the 2011 recipient of the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance at the ESPYs.
In the book, written by Robles and Austin Murphy with a foreword by Jay Leno, Robles opens up about the obstacles he faced and the challenges he had to overcome to achieve his greatness, as he writes how he never let his disability prevent him from catching his dreams. By being brave, resilient, humble, and incredibly inspiring, Robles shows how he can be a lead example to dreamers around the world who look for inspiration. His message to the world is that there are no limits to success if a person doesn't give up. Robles believes he was put on Earth for a reason and it motivates him to do everything and anything that everyone else does, in hopes to relay this message to others through the book's message.
