    Seth Amoo
    Country: Ghana
    Event: Track & Field - 200m Dash
    Years at Arizona State: 2002-05

    Amoo will be competing in his first Olympic Games as he will represent Ghana by competing in the 200m dash. A four-year member of the Sun Devils, Amoo left Tempe with seven All-America honors, tied for the most in program history. Along with his honor in the 200m dash in 2005, Amoo added All-America honors in the 4x400m relay five times (twice indoor, three times outdoor) and the 4x100m relay once. Amoo also was a seven-time Pac-10 Champion (200m dash in 2005 along with six relay crowns).

    Lewis Banda
    Country: Zimbabwe
    Track & Field - 400m Dash
    Years at ASU: 2003-05

    Banda will be representing Zimbabwe in the Summer Olympics for the second Games in a row after finishing xx in the 400m dash at the 2004 Athens Games. A five-time Pac-10 Champion, including titles in the 400m dash in both 2003 and 2004, Banda was a six-time All-American for the Sun Devils, earning the national honor in the 400m dash in 2004 (outdoors) while adding relay honors both indoors and out.

    Mark Bradshaw
    Country: Finland
    Event: Diving - will coach Puhakka
    Years at ASU: 1998-present

    Bradshaw is entering his third overall Olympiad and his second as a coach for Joona Puhakka of Finland. In his 11 years at Arizona State, Bradshaw has built one of the top diving programs in the nation that produced current Olympian Puhakka, a four-time NCAA Champion for the Sun Devils. Internationally, Bradshaw competed in the 1988 Seoul Games and placed fifth in the 3m springboard competition and also was a two-time silver medalist at the Pan American Games.

    Mike Chasson
    Country: Kuwait
    Event: Swimming - will coach Madwa
    Years at ASU: 1998-present

    Chasson, who recently completed his 10th season at the head of the Sun Devil program, will be coaching in his second Olympiad and representing his second nation as he coached in the 2004 Athens Games for Egypt and former Sun Devil Ahmed Hussein. This year, Chasson will be on the pool deck coaching Mohammed Madwa as the Kuwait-native will compete in the 50 and 100 freestyle events. Chasson is no stranger to international competitions as he coached the United States at the 1997 World University Games after serving as an assistant coach for the U.S. at the 1993 Pan Pacific Games.

    Ante Cvitkovic
    Country: Croatia
    Event: Swimming - 400 Medley Relay
    Years at ASU: 2006-present

    Cvitkovic will swim in his first Olympic Games this summer and will represent his native Croatia. After recently completing his second year with the Sun Devils, Cvitkovic will compete in the 400 medley relay in Beijing. In his two years with the program, he has scored team points at the Pac-10 Championships in several events as well as helping the 400 medley relay team to the second-fastest time in school history. This past season, he recorded NCAA consideration times in the 100 and 200 backstroke events.

    Jacquelyn Johnson
    Country: United States
    Event: Track & Field - Heptathlon
    Years at ASU: 2004-08

    Johnson will be competing in her first Olympiad after placing second in the heptathlon at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials - Track & Field with a Pac-10 and school record 6,347 points. Johnson recently completed her collegiate career by winning her fourth NCAA Heptathlon crown, making her the first woman in NCAA history to win the heptathlon four times in a career and just the fourth woman to win the same event four times in a career. The 2008 Pac-10 Women's Field Athlete of the Year, Johnson also notched three national titles in the indoor pentathlon, scoring a collegiate and NCAA meet record 4,496 points at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships. A three-time Pac-10 heptathlon champion, Johnson accumulated nine All-America honors in her illustrious career.

    Mohammed Madwa
    Country: Kuwait
    Event: Swimming - 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle
    Years at ASU: 2005-present

    Madwa will represent his native Kuwait at the 2008 Summer Games and will compete in the 50 and 100 freestyle events. The Kuwait and Persian Gulf record holder in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events, Madwa swam his personal-best times in the two shorter swims, going 20.23 and 44.81, respectively. Madwa recently completed his junior season with the Sun Devils.

    Gal Nevo
    Country: Israel
    Event: Swimming - 200 Individual Medley
    Years at ASU: 2006-presen

    Nevo recently completed his junior season with the Sun Devils and will compete for his native Israel at the 2008 Summer Games in the 200 individual medley. A former 200 IM national champion in Israel, Nevo is the Sun Devil record holder in the 1650 freestyle and the 400 IM while ranking second all-time in the 200 IM. Nevo is a two-time All-American by placing sixth in the 1650 freestyle and seventh in the 400 IM at the NCAA Championships in 2006.

    Joel Phillip
    Country: Grenada
    Event: Track & Field - 400m Dash
    Years at ASU: 2008-present

    Phillip is making his Olympic debut in 2008 after finishing his first season of competition at Arizona State. The junior-transfer from Central Arizona College will compete in the 400m dash after he ran a personal best time of 45.26 at the Pac-10 Championships to reach the Olympic 'A' standard. Phillip was a three-time All-American in 2008 with two of those honors coming indoors and helping the men to their first national indoor team title. At the indoor meet, Phillip was the national runner-up at 400m and helped the 4x400m relay to third place to clinch the team title for the Sun Devils.

    Joona Puhakka
    Country: Finland
    Event: Diving - Springboard (3m)
    Years at ASU: 2002-06

    Puhakka is entering his third Olympic Games for Finland after diving at the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Games and improving his finishes from 30th in 2000 to 14th in 2004. A four-time NCAA champion for the Sun Devils, Puhakka dominated the springboard competitions in the Pac-10 Conference by winning the 1-meter and 3-meter evens in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. The 2003 World Championships bronze medal winner in Barcelona, Puhakka recently won a pair of medals at the 2008 European Championships, including silver in the 1-meter and bronze in the 3-meter.

    Trevell Quinley
    Country: United States
    Event: Track & Field - Long Jump
    Years at ASU: 2002-05

    Quinley will be making his first appearance in the Olympics after winning the long jump at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials - Track & Field earlier this summer with a personal-best mark of 8.36m (27-05.25). During his time in Tempe, Quinley won the 2005 Pac-10 Championships after finishing runner-up in both 2002 and 2004. A two-time All-American for the Sun Devils, Quinley was the 2008 U.S. Indoor Champion and placed 12th at the 2007 World Outdoor Championships.

    Shawn Redhage
    Country: Australia
    Event: Basketball
    Years at ASU: 1999-03

    Redhage will be appearing in his first Olympic Games after earning a place on the Australian basketball roster in 2008 and will look to help the Aussies improve upon fourth-place finishes in 1988, 1992 and 2000. Redhage played in 122 games during his career in Tempe which culminated with the Sun Devils defeating Memphis in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2003. He averaged 7.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest with the Devils and had a career shooting average of 48.3 from the field.

    Alison Williamson
    Country: Great Britain
    Event: Archery
    Years at ASU: 1991-95

    Williamson is set to compete in her fifth Summer Games and will look to improve upon her first Olympic medal after capturing bronze at the 2004 Athens Games. An All-American in 1993 with the Sun Devils (the last year the team was a varsity sport), Williamson was part of six national championships in her days in Tempe as the women won the 1991, 1992 and 1993 titles while joining the men to captured mixed crowns in each of those three years. During her previous four Summer Games, Williamson placed eighth in 1992 Barcelona before taking 10th in both 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney. Between her first two games, Williamson won the 1994 U.S. Collegiate Individual Championships.
