    Getting to Know Jean Boyd:
    Jean has been a Sun Devil since January of 1991 when he joined the ASU football program as a transfer from Cerritos College in southern California. After playing for the Sun Devils for three years and graduating from ASU in 1994 in History, Jean chased his dream of playing professional football. After participating in a training camp with the New England Patriots in 1994 and the London Monarchs (NFL Europe) in spring of 1995, Jean joined the ASU Athletic department as a management intern in July of 1995. Having been employed by ASU Athletics since 1995, Jean has worked as Coordinator then Manager for Life Skills, Manager for Football Academics, Assistant then Associate Athletic Director for Student Athlete Development. He earned his Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from the ASU School of Education in 1998 and continues to be committed to his life passion of empowering young people through education and sport and to maximize their human potential. Jean has two beautiful children, Nadia and Jean III, and has co-founded a non-profit organization "Scholar Baller®" which promotes academic and life achievement through motivational academic incentives and educational initiatives.
