Cousin (Brent Lett) played basketball for four years at Southwest Christian College in Texas; uncle (Sam King) wrestled for two years at Cal Poly; cousin (Melanie King) was on the track and field team at CSU Chico; cousin (Lee Evans) competed in track and field at CSU San Jose and would go on to win Olympic gold medals in the 400-meter-dash and the 4x400-meter-relay at the 1968 Olympiads held in Mexico City. He set world record in both events, 43.86 seconds in the 400-meter-dash and 2:56.16 seconds in the 4x400-meter-relays.

    • Hobbies include writing, listening to music, surfing the Internet and hanging out with friends.
