Career Notes
A 2011 Junior College State Farm Coaches' All-American, Pickens transferred to ASU last May from Cypress College (Cypress, Calif.), where she helped lead the Chargers to a third-place state finish last season.
Pickens' statistics during her 61-game career (59 starts) at Cypress included 1,193 points (19.6 ppg), 427 rebounds (7.0 rpg), 130 assists (2.1 apg), 190 steals (3.1 spg) and 114 blocks (1.9 bpg).

Finished the season first on the team in steals (1.9 spg), second in blocks (0.8 bpg) and third in rebounding (3.7 rpg - most among ASU's guards).
Had had three or more steals 12 times, including a career-high four steals on two different occasions.
Averaged 10.0 points and connected on 71 percent of her shots (10-16) in ASU's two games against second-ranked Stanford
Scored eight points and led ASU with nine rebounds in season-opening win vs. UC Riverside (Nov. 11).
Led ASU with 12 points to go along with eight rebounds, four steals and two assists in 56-52 OT win at Colorado State (Nov. 13). Scored 10 points in the second half and overtime.
Tallied 12 points to go along with a season-best five assists vs. Boston College (Nov. 20).
Scored eight points, grabbed six rebounds and tied her career high in steals (4) vs. Rutgers (Nov. 26).
Earned ASU Classic All-Tournament recognition after scoring a season-best 13 points (6-9 FGs) vs. Illinois State (Dec. 3).
Blocked a potential game-winning 3-pointer by UTEP in the closing seconds of ASU's 47-45 win over the Miners (Dec. 28).
Tied for the team lead in scoring (13 points - tied season best) while adding four rebounds, three steals and two blocks in win over Arizona (Dec. 31).

Pickens' statistics during her 61-game career (59 starts) at Cypress included 1,193 points (19.6 ppg), 427 rebounds (7.0 rpg), 130 assists (2.1 apg), 190 steals (3.1 spg) and 114 blocks (1.9 bpg). Pickens finished fourth in the state in scoring (22.9 ppg) in 2011 on her way to being named the California junior college South Player of the Year and a State Farm Junior College All-American. Pickens' campaign included a pair of contests in which she went over the 40-point mark. In addition she went on to set the school record for most career blocks with 114. As a freshman in 2010, Pickens led the Chargers in scoring (15.9 ppg) as she would go on to earn All-Orange Empire Conference First-Team honors in addition to Second-Team All-State recognition.
Prior to attending Cypress, Pickens starred at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach, Calif., where she was a two-time First-Team All-Moore League selection and named to the Press Telegram Dream Team as a senior.
