Ashley Kelly Named Pac-10 Gymnast Of The Week

Kelly won two events and the all-around title against Arizona.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- ARIZONA STATE senior Ashley Kelly has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Gymnast of the Week for January 17-23, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Kelly, from York, Pa., won two events and the all-around title as then-No. 17 Arizona State defeated then-No. 14 Arizona, 195.3-195.15 on Jan. 22 at Wells Fargo Arena. Kelly won the 16th all-around title of her illustrious career with a 39.475. Kelly also tied for first on bars (9.9), was first outright on beam (9.925), second on vault (9.875), and tied for third on floor (9.775).

Arizona State is currently ranked 13th in the national standings. The Sun Devils travel to Seattle to face WASHINGTON and Seattle Pacific on Friday, Jan. 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Bank of America Arena.
