· Played in 13 games with her first career start coming against Pacific (Sept. 18).
· Earned first career assist in the game she got her first start in.
· Got her first goal of career in season opener vs. Northern Arizona (Aug. 19).
High School
· Van Horn hails from San Antonio, Texas, where she had a big hand in leading her Ronald Reagan High School squad to back-to-back district titles the last two seasons, including a berth in the 5-A State semifinals in 2009.
· Twice named First-Team All-Region and First Team All-District,
· Was named to the state championship All-Tournament Team in 2009.
· Accounted for 38 goals and 35 assists the last two seasons, was named All-State in 2010 in addition to earning a spot on the San Antonio Express-News All-Area SuperTeam.
· Was class president of her high school three years and was a National Honor Society student.
· A member of ASU's Barrett Honors College.

If you could play any other sport at the collegiate level, what would it be? Tennis
What is one thing you would never leave home without? I never leave home without my phone or my headphones.
What are some of your hobbies? My hobbies include traveling and watching movies.
Why did you choose Arizona State? I chose Arizona State because I liked the idea of playing a D1 sport at a big school and I also liked the location.
The perfect meal includes? A lot of carbohydrates.
If you could be on any reality T.V show, what would it be? I'd probably be on The Amazing Race because it looks really cool and would be a lot of fun.
Who is your favorite athlete? Tim Duncan is my favorite athlete because I love the Spurs.
What is your favorite quote? "That it will never come again is what makes life sweet" - Emily Dickinson
What's your favorite class you've taken so far at ASU? My favorite class I've taken so far at ASU has been human event.
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why? I'd visit Iceland because I've seen really pretty pictures of it.
Who has been the most influential person in your life and why? My mom is the most influential person in my life because she has helped me with everything and I trust her more than anyone.
What is your most memorable moment being a Sun Devil? Scoring my first goal against Northern Arizona University.
