Interview Requests
All interview requests must go through Corinne Calabro at least two days in advance to ensure availability by coaches and student-athletes. Tuesday at 1 p.m. is the set media practice for interviews and open video shooting. Contact Calabro for updated practice times and interview requests as the weekly practice schedule changes throughout the season.
Media Will-Call
Media will call is located at the Farrington Stadium entrance, next to the Ticket Office.
Media Credentials/Parking
Members of the media that wish to cover a Sun Devil softball game in Tempe should contact Corinne Calabro in the Media Relations Office at (480) 965-1237 or via email at corinne.calabro@asu.edu. Our office defines "media agency" as a daily or weekly publication, cable system, radio station, television station or television network, or online entity requiring immediate news coverage. Photographers can also apply for credentials if the individual is certified by a participating institution, who will represent specific campus-related entities.
Calabro will handle all media requests for credentials and press box seating. All credentials can be revoked at any time if bearer does not comply to policies at the stadium/event. Please note that parking and press box seating is very limited. There are no media parking passes or reservations. Parking and seating is on a first-come first-serve basis.
Gameday Policy
Media and photographers are not allowed on the field, on top of the dugouts or inside the dugouts during games. Please see a media relations staff member for approved locations to shoot from. Pregame interviews are prohibited at all times with coaches and student-athletes.
Postgame Interview Policy
At home games, postgame interviews with Arizona State players and coaches are conducted in the softball clubhouse. Postgame press conferences are for credential personnel only. The ASU locker room is closed at all times to media. Interview requests will be taken late in the game and every effort will be made to ensure that requested players are available. There will be no interviews conducted on the field. Members of the Arizona State media relations staff will help direct you to the postgame interview area.
Visiting team postgame policy at Farrington Stadium differs by team. Media members should contact the visiting SID at the game for information.
At away games, contact assistant media realtions director Corinne Calabro (corinne.calabro@asu.edu) for interviews with the coaching staff. There will be no interviews with student-athletes at away games.
