TEMPE, Ariz. - Despite going 4-0 over the weekend against Central Connecticut and yielding a 14-2 record thus far, the Arizona State softball program has dropped one spot to No. 5 in the weekly polls as released Tuesday.

ASU outscored CCSU 43-3 over the weekend, continuing its win streak to 10 and mercy rule streak to seven games. The Sun Devils look to continue its streak, which started Feb. 12, as it hosts the Wilson/DeMarini Invitational starting March 2 after playing a solo game against Wichita State on March 1 at 7 p.m
