SAN DIEGO -

The Arizona State Sun Devils women's tennis team will compete in the USTA/ITA Southwest Regional Championships hosted by San Diego State.

Competition runs Thursday through Monday and will include action from the Sun Devils on both the singles and double courts.

The pairing of Leighann Sahagun and Stephanie Vlad will have a bye in the opening round of 64 on the doubles courts, and will face Priscilla Garcia and April Scatliffe of UCSB coming off a bye as well in the round of 32 on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m.

On the singles courts, freshman Stephanie Vlad has a bye in the first round and will face off against Franziska Goettsching of UCI on Thursday.
