Volleyball Opens 2011 Season with Sheraton Classic This Weekend
The Sun Devils look to matches against Denver, UW-Milwaukee, and San Jose State to kick off the season.

Redshirt freshman.

A 2011 graduate of Point Loma High School in San Diego, Calif...four time letter winner for the Pointers...setter and libero, Checkal was all-league, team MVP, and captain for three years...also played varsity soccer her freshman year.

Full name is Jordan Lyn Checkal...parents are Brian (construction owner) and Michelle (real estate) Checkal of San Diego, Calif...born Feb. 20, 1993 in San Diego, Calif...plays soccer in the off-season...wants to be an interior designer.
