    2011 (Junior):
    Led the team in kills with 424 on the season, a 3.82 average per set, also the highest on the squad...Finished eighth in the Pac-12 on kills, as well as eighth in points... Nationally, ranked 72nd in kills and 91st in points...Recorded highest number of points for ASU with 465.0...Notched 50 blocks total, with 8 solo and 42 assists, for fifth most overall...Also grabbed 12 service aces and 233 digs on the year...Had season-high and career-high of 27 kills twice, first against Oregon on Nov. 4, then again versus Utah on Nov. 12...Was named to Pac-12 All-Academic Team with Honorable Mention status.

    2010 (Sophomore):
    Finished with 115 kills while only playing in 36 sets, averaging 3.19 kills per set...was sixth in points for the Sun Devils with 133.5, finishing with 3.71 points per set...had a career day against Virginia Commonwealth on Aug. 29, posting a career-best 21 kills.

    2009 (Freshman):
    Finished fourth on the team with 110 kills on the year, despite only playing in 45 sets on the year for a 2.44 kills per set average... posted a career match on October 10 vs. Oregon State where she collected 16 kills and 16 digs in the match... her efforts did not go unnoticed by the Pac-10 on the season as she was awarded an honorable mention on the 2009 All Pac-10 Freshman team.

    High School:
    A 2009 graduate of Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, Ariz... earned letters in volleyball, basketball and track & field... captained the volleyball team... was named Central Region Player of the Year, as well as Master Athlete for the Class of 2009... was also a member of the Spiral Volleyball Club and the Arizona Juniors.

    A communication major... full name is Ashley Christine Kastl... parents are Joseph (Owner of Party Rental Co.) and Ann (Amusement business) Kastl of Phoenix, Ariz... has one older brother Camron (21) who plays football for ASU... born December 7, 1990... also enjoys snowboarding, surfing, longboarding and participating in bowling league with Alexis Pinson.
