TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil volleyball head coach Jason Watson announced the signing of Whitney Follette on Monday morning. Follette will join ASU for 2012 season.

“I am excited about the addition of Whitney to our program,” head coach Jason Watson said. “She not only compliments our team’s character and attitude, but brings balance to an outstanding 2012 recruiting class. Whitney has played in the middle for her high school team and is currently playing on the right side with her club program. Her experience at both positions makes her an extremely versatile athlete.”

Whitney Follette | St. Albert, Alberta, Canada | 6-2
A product out of Alberta Canada, Follette is the third signee for the 2012 prospective class with Macey Garnder and Allison Palmer who signed in November. Follette is a multiple-sport athlete lettering in volleyball, basketball, track & field and badminton at Paul Kane High School.

Under head coach Stan Andronyk, she played three years of volleyball in the Metro Edmonton Premier League and accumulated a lengthy trophy case.
