TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State fifth-year volleyball head coach Jason Watson released the 2012 schedule on Wednesday, which includes a home tournament in September and 14 home matches throughout the season.
The 2012 schedule includes 33 overall matches, 20 during Pac-12 Conference play and four tournaments. With the addition of the Pac-12 Network, fans will now be able to watch 13 ASU matches on TV while three will be nationally broadcasted.
"Our schedule gives a nice blend of competition," said head coach Jason Watson. "The non-conference schedule is competitive and will prepare us for the rigors of an increasingly competitive Pac-12 Conference."
Arizona State will give a glimpse of the 2012 squad during the Alumni Match on Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. with a free skill clinic open to the public at 2 p.m. following the match.
The Sun Devils will then begin their non-conference slate with tournament competition that consists of 13 matches starting on Aug. 24 at UTEP followed by the UC-Irvine Tournament beginning Aug. 31. ASU will trek to Lawrence, Kan., for the KU tournament starting on Sept. 7, before returning to Tempe to host the ASU Sheraton Invitational on Sept. 14 and 15 with Villanova, UC Riverside, Florida Atlantic and Gonzaga in attendance.
