    Information Regarding Volleyball's Match Vs. Washington State on Friday

    2012 Volleyball Promotional Calendar
    TEMPE, Ariz. -
    The Arizona State University volleyball team will host Washington State this Friday at 6 p.m. in Wells Fargo Arena with the game also being broadcast on the Pac-12 Network. Friday's match is the volleyball program's Gold Game.

    The Sun Devils, who are 11-3 overall and 0-1 in Pac-12 play, host a Cougar team that enters the contest 10-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play after a 3-1 loss at Washington on Tuesday.

    Parking:
    Parking will open at 4 p.m. for the public in the stadium structure (Structure 7). After 4 p.m. the structure will be free to the public.

    About the Washington State Series:
    ASU has the edge on this series, 29-24 despite dropping both matches in 2011 (L, 3-0 Oct. 29; L, 3-2 Sept. 23). Under head coach Jason Watson the season is split 4-all. The last time the two teams met returners Tuioti-Mariner, Kylee Terhune and Wilson led offensively with seven, six and five kills each, respectively. McCready was held to 34 assists while defensively Preach (13 digs) split the digs with Jenny Teslevich (11 digs). 

    Friday Night Promotions:
    The 6 p.m. match against Washington State is the volleyball program's elected Gold Game. Come support your Sun Devils and wear gold! At half time, marketing will hold a Hit it to Win it Serving Challenge. Make sure you are present for the match because at the conclusion the entire team will be available for autographs in Wells Fargo Arena.

    Washington State Tops Sun Devil Volleyball 3-0
    Arizona State volleyball fell in set scores of 25-22, 25-17 and 25-20 as Washington State rolled to a 3-0 victory Saturday night at Bohler Gym.
