TEMPE, Ariz. - Sun Devil volleyball player Erica Wilsonwas named to the Southwest Region Honorable Mention team by COBRA Magazine last week.

COBRA Magazine's purpose is to celebrate the success of volleyball players of African as well as Samoan and Tongan descent.

"Erica continues to excel in her role on our team," head coach Jason Watsonsaid. "This recognition comes in part because of the season she had, but also due to the commitment she made this past summer in preparation. Erica is a Sun Devil and I am certainly glad she is a part of our program."

Wilson joined five others from the Pac-12 conference including the Southwest Region Player of the Year Alex Jupiter from USC.
